How to declutter to allow space in for Aristo-Chic inspiration

I’ve got notebooks everywhere, I like stuff. But I like minimalism more. My home is cosy, but my desk is sparse. I need professional space to think. When it came to the pandemic, the Frenchman and I had to choose spaces in the house to work. His desk is cluttered and gives me heart palpitations, mine is a Louis XIV chair and a laptop.

Neither is right nor wrong, he is a perfectly successful professional with his own methods of working. But there is a lot of energy in making space to allow creative ideas to come in. And this is super important. So, here’s how to make space professionally Aristo-Chic effortlessly:

  1. Make a list of all the important spaces in your life: home, finances, work

  2. Write down which areas need decluttering.

  3. Make a specific tick box list per space
    .
  4. Review the list and decide which is least scary and do that first. I personally prefer to do the scary one first as I feel more of a sense of achievement, but do whatever works for you.

Make space, it is so freeing. It allows in inspiration to make the next step in your awesome working mother journey. You’ve got this. Xx
